Summary: Bucky and Steve reach an understanding that sometimes it’s easier to just pretend they’re dating. They hide behind ‘pretend’ for far longer than they should.
My notes: Love Love Love this! ‘Bucky’s mother gives him an ultimatum. Bucky doesn’t respond well.‘ to say the least. Basically, Steve and Bucky have to pretend to be a couple so Becca can’t come and stay with him and Steve for 2 months. They do a lot of practice touching and kissing for Bucky’s mother’s wedding.

My Notes: Pretend couple! How Bucky and Steve are so insync with each other, and how they see through each other! Bucky is Steve’s Sugardaddy of sorts, as Steve is a struggling artist and Bucky works as an engineer for Stark Ind. (and interpreter, in languages(for Tony) and concepts (for Pepper)) Becca really takes after Bucky and is reaching the age where she wants to go party but Bucky, being protective, doesn’t want her to follow in his footsteps. WIP but so so good. Especially how Steve and Bucky really make sure they have each other’s consent to move further in their relationship. Steve is getting is big break and Bucky is so so proud of him, he will do anything for steve. <3<3<3<3 they are so protective of each other but still gives each other space. I can’t wait for more!

Summary: There was an entire pantheon of things Rodney was willing to concede could exist, even though he'd never personally witnessed evidence thereof. Time travel, for starters. Space aliens. The perfect man. But he absolutely, positively could not accept that he'd been dreaming of a guy he'd never seen before in his life, who turned out to be real.

My Notes: A creepier take on Black Helicopters. Rodney stopped working for the government and lives up in an old TV station in Canada. He uses the big dish to look for extraterrestrial communication. His radio picks up a radio signal from a John Sheppard. They talk and he promised John he could stay with Rodney when he came back. Be ware of what you promise... *gets chills just remembering*

Title: Chase This Light

Summary: In the modern world, where the creatures of myth live side-by-secret-side with mundane humanity, Steve Rogers is one of the gifted humans who straddles the line between mythfolk and mundane, and he’s never told anyone about the day he healed a dragon.

Living in the city in human form, Bucky’s managed to shed most of dragon-kind’s more unpleasant tendencies, but he’s never quite managed to shake the tendency to get attached, especially not when it comes to the healer who saved his life.

When healers start going missing, Bucky will do anything to make sure Steve isn’t one of them, something that would be a hell of a lot easier if Steve could stand the sight of him. Of course, Steve might feel differently if he knew Bucky was the dragon he’d saved all those years ago.

What I Loved: Mistaken identity, ‘first meetings’ off to a wrong start, super independent Steve who is head strong and always determined to treat his patients with care no matter his personal feelings, the boys being protective of each other, Bucky who likes jobs where he gets to champion people so that disputes are resolved with out a lot of death.
