Title: Chase This Light
Author: Leveragehunters
Word Count: 54k+
Summary: In the modern world, where the creatures of myth live side-by-secret-side with mundane humanity, Steve Rogers is one of the gifted humans who straddles the line between mythfolk and mundane, and he’s never told anyone about the day he healed a dragon.

Living in the city in human form, Bucky’s managed to shed most of dragon-kind’s more unpleasant tendencies, but he’s never quite managed to shake the tendency to get attached, especially not when it comes to the healer who saved his life.

When healers start going missing, Bucky will do anything to make sure Steve isn’t one of them, something that would be a hell of a lot easier if Steve could stand the sight of him. Of course, Steve might feel differently if he knew Bucky was the dragon he’d saved all those years ago.

What I Loved: Mistaken identity, ‘first meetings’ off to a wrong start, super independent Steve who is head strong and always determined to treat his patients with care no matter his personal feelings, the boys being protective of each other, Bucky who likes jobs where he gets to champion people so that disputes are resolved with out a lot of death.

Title: If Steve Rogers Were Your Boyfriend
Author: bopeep
Word Count : 66k+
Status: WIP
Summary: When he’s not editing a magazine he truly loathes or navigating a rocky relationship he truly doesn’t deserve, Bucky Barnes writes a fantasy romance column with an unexpectedly loyal internet following about the barista at his favorite cafe. Barista Boyfriend makes these other worlds bearable, but the real world dreamboat isn’t remotely involved; Steve Rogers is just a muse. Everyone loves the column. And it definitely isn’t killing Bucky very gently in 500 word increments, not in the slightest. What kind of a writer can’t keep fact and fiction straight?

James Fuckin’ Barnes, that’s who.

My thoughts: Cute. Bucky has some real self- esteem issues. As does Steve. First part of fic, kind of through Bucky’s POV where everything about Steve is perfect. POV changes slightly and we get a more 3D view when Steve writes back to Bucky to give them a chance. When Bucky tries to apologize with carrot muffins, they end up in a fist fight. Contains cute Bucky Steve flirting. Stopped on interlude pg 66.

Title: Fade to Black
Author: Whizzy
Word Count: 25k
Status: Complete
Summary: There was an entire pantheon of things Rodney was willing to concede could exist, even though he'd never personally witnessed evidence thereof. Time travel, for starters. Space aliens. The perfect man. But he absolutely, positively could not accept that he'd been dreaming of a guy he'd never seen before in his life, who turned out to be real.

My Notes: A creepier take on Black Helicopters. Rodney stopped working for the government and lives up in an old TV station in Canada. He uses the big dish to look for extraterrestrial communication. His radio picks up a radio signal from a John Sheppard. They talk and he promised John he could stay with Rodney when he came back. Be ware of what you promise... *gets chills just remembering*

Title: The Smithsonian Guard
Author: galerian_ash
Word Count: 9k
Status: Complete
Summary: Summary: Bucky makes a friend.

My Notes: I have a big thing for Outside POV. I like to see how other people would see the relationship between my favorite characters. This is one of my favs within Captain America fandom. It’s a short fic that warms the heart and I really wish there was more to read!
